Lawyer enters not guilty plea for shooting suspect

Lawyer enters not guilty plea for suspect in California college shooting rampage By The Associated Press

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) ' A lawyer has entered a not guilty plea for a man charged with murdering seven people at a California college that he once attended.

A public defender for 43-year-old One Goh entered the plea Monday on his client's behalf in Alameda County Superior Court.

Goh is charged with seven counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder in the April 2 attack at Oikos University in Oakland.

Authorities say Goh planned the shootings after becoming angry over a tuition dispute with the school.

Shackles and wearing a red jumpsuit, Goh appeared calm Monday though noticeably thinner than he looked in his first court appearance.

Jail officials say the once heavyset man lost about 20 pounds after refusing food for two weeks but started eating again over the weekend.
