Lawson Cloverleaf Integration Engine and Lawson Cloverleaf IHE Infrastructure Adaptor Pass Connectathon Test

Lawson to Demo Solutions at the 2012 HIMSS Conference & Exhibition for Seventh Consecutive Year (February 03, 2012)

ST. PAUL, MN -- (Marketwire) -- 02/03/12 -- Lawson Software, an Infor affiliate, today announced that the Lawson Cloverleaf Integration Engine and Lawson Cloverleaf IHE Infrastructure Adaptor have achieved the highest industry standards for enabling health system interoperability for 13 profile/actor pairs in the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) Connectathon event. These tests, completed in a true disparate environment, are designed to demonstrate the applications' comprehensive healthcare interoperability. These solutions have qualified to be demonstrated at the Interoperability Showcase at the 2012 Annual HIMSS Conference & Exhibition being held February 20-24 in Las Vegas.

The following profiles, used for producing and retrieving patient IDs and demographics, passed:

Profiles for systems that have Patient IDs and need to enable access for additional systems:

  • PDQv2: Patient Demographics Consumer
  • PDQv3: Patient Demographics Consumer

Profiles for systems that want to gain access to Patient IDs:

  • PIXv2: Patient Identity Consumer
  • PIXv3: Patient Identity Consumer

Profiles for systems that have Patient ID information and need access to corresponding Patient Demographic information:

  • PIXv2: Patient Identity Source
  • PIXv3: Patient Identity Source

Additionally, On Demand Documents, an optional part of the Cross Document Sharing (XDS.b) profile that allows on demand sharing of dynamically generated data such as a patient's latest Continuity of Care Document (CCD), passed profile tests. This application enables doctors and hospitals to have up to the minute access to information, improving the quality of patient care and clinical effectiveness. These on-demand health systems eliminate paperwork and make it faster and more cost efficient to manage health documents and cross-document sharing.

"The Lawson Cloverleaf Integration Engine and Modules and Lawson Cloverleaf IHE Infrastructure Adaptor allow health organizations to more effectively collaborate and share data inside their organization while connecting to other hospitals and health information exchanges to build out their network," said Jim Catalino, general manager for Lawson Healthcare. "Our successful profile tests further demonstrate our commitment to providing our customers secure and flexible solutions. We are pleased to be able to showcase our solutions during the Interoperability Showcase for the seventh consecutive year and look forward to continuing the tradition of sharing our innovative health solutions that address the challenges and changes that our customers are facing."

Lawson Software will be demonstrating the Cross Community Access (XCA) Initiating and Responding Gateways, applications that enable customers to share healthcare documents across disparate communities of care. Lawson Software will have their latest solutions available at Booth #1934 during the 2012 Annual HIMSS Conference & Exhibition being held February 20-24 in Las Vegas.
