Lavu Reveals New Epson iPad POS Package at 2014 National Restaurant Association Show(May 15, 2014)
Albuquerque, NM (PRWEB) May 15, 2014
Lavu Inc., makers of the first iPad POS for restaurants, will release several new products and partner solutions at their 4th consecutive National Restaurant Association show this weekend. Announcements expected to attract the most hype will be the new Epson partnership featuring smart printers, and a single terminal POS option with no upfront licensing fees.
Lavu 88 is the name of the new single terminal POS option being offered with no licensing fees. 88 was built to accommodate new businesses, offering back of house management functionality to the iPad ordering and payment system -- without the upfront licensing fees generally associated with a system of this calibre.
Annie Clark with the Cedar House Restaurant & Chalets in British Columbia recently chose Lavu over competing iPad POS products. She was impressed with the combination of a simple signup process, equipment compatibility, and responsive customer service, but the deciding factor was the lack of upfront license fees. Annie stated, Without no upfront fees and a simple signup process the decision to move forward with Lavu 88 was quite easy.
The NRA show will also mark the beginning of a new partnership between Lavu Inc. and Epson, respected internationally as a leading supplier of value-added Point of Sale (POS) solutions. Lavu is the first Epson partner to adopt the Epson OmniLink i-Series all-in-one smart solution for receipt printing and peripheral device management for its iPad POS. In addition, Lavu will also leverage Epsons market-leading TM-T88V and TM-U220B printers for receipt and kitchen printing. The two global market leaders are working together to deliver a cutting-edge solution that offers restaurant operators a trusted and innovative migration path to tablet POS.
We like to partner with innovative companies that think outside the traditional POS box, commented Tom Kettell, Manager of North American Sales for Epsons Business Systems Division. Lavu is the first to integrate our smart device into its iPad POS for hospitality, utilizing all the functionality it was built to deliver. Operators of all sizes considering a move to mobility should make sure this iPad POS is on their short list.
Lavu teams with preferred hardware partner Zephyr Hardware for NRA 2014 to demonstrate new integrated solutions including RFID scanners and the benefits of the new smart printers. Zephyr Hardware offers point of sale and technology solutions for food service businesses, including Lavu hardware bundles and financing options for Lavu iPad POS hardware and installation services.
Im excited to get in front of customers and prospective customers to show why Lavu iPad POS is the smart choice small businesses and national chains alike, said Steve Brown, Founder of Zephyr Hardware. We have some impressive new products for event attendees to view, and we expect heightened interest in the innovative RFID scanner integrations.
