Underpinning Latisys' rapid growth, the company is adding 72,000 square feet of highly secure, high density, carrier grade IT infrastructure space along with significant power upgrades. Latisys' total data center footprint exceeds 500,000 square feet across seven data centers in four major markets.
The company also announced availability of the Latisys Cloud, enabling enterprises to rapidly provision on-demand, pay-as-you-go IT infrastructure services through a self-service portal. The Latisys Cloud is restricted to members only and features all the security and performance businesses require for enterprise production environments. In addition, the Latisys Cloud offers industry-leading levels of customer support and multiple levels of QoS assigned to different resource pools so that customers can choose the level required for each application.
