Come and see how the Visual Effects for ?The Day After Tomorrow were created from pre-visualization to the final renders. Different weather effects had to be created including; hurricanes, twisters, clouds, rain, snow and ice. See how far these complex effects have come.
The Visual Effects Supervisor, Karen Goulekas, will be our guide through the vast territory of creating the extensive visual effects. Mike Chambers, the Visual Effects Producer will talk to us about keeping this huge production train together. Joshua Kolden, from Crack Creative will talk about setting up pre-visualization for the movie giving advance scouting to those who went on this journey through the digital effects process.
To top off the event two NVIDIA Quadro FX 500 boards will be given away by PNY!
The event will be co-hosted by NVIDIA. Come and see a demonstration in the lobby on Gelato.
