KromA creates VFX for rapper's video "The Show"

KromA helped Method Man see behind the walls and into the hearts of people living in an urban apartment building in providing visual effects services for the rap stars latest video The Show.

Directed by Jessy Terrerro, the video shows Method Man writing lyrics in a notebook while looking out a window at a nighttime street scene and a building opposite. The words he raps come to life as the camera moves through the windows of the apartment building to reveal the scenes inside. He sees a couple having an affair, some girls having a party and a mother trying to feed her kids.

The scenes in the apartments were shot on sets as elements separate from the apartment building location. KromA visual effects artist Evan Guidera set the scenes into the buildings windows and tracked them to the camera as it moved in. ?In some instances, we had to track the moves in 3D space because the camera goes all the way into the room, Guidera explained.
Bert Yukich was visual effects supervisor and Amy Yukich was executive producer for KromA.
