Kodak Online Giveaway Celebrates Film and Hybrid Products

Prizes include KODAK VISION2 16 mm film and a one-year license for the KODAK Look Manager System (September 16, 2005)

Kodak is commemorating the convergence of the company's film origination products and digital postproduction tools in today's various workflow environments by offering prizes valued at nearly $5,000 in an online giveaway. The promotion runs from September 19 through October 10 at  http://promotion.kodak.com/makeworkflow, and is open to residents of the United States and Canada.

The prizes include KODAK VISION2 16 mm film and a one-year license for the KODAK Look Manager System.

"Our goal is to make the Kodak website a resource for finding information about the powerful, new creative tools available to today's filmmakers," says Gayle Barnes, worldwide Internet marketing manager for Kodak's Entertainment Imaging Division. "We have been listening to our customers, and we are responding by developing an array of new motion imaging technologies that give them the creative flexibility they want from pre- through postproduction. Our commitment to the future is wide open."

The introduction of the KODAK VISION2 family of color negatives in 2002 has sparked a renaissance in the production of independent features, television programs and documentaries on film. The five films in the company's VISION2 product line incorporate significant advances in emulsion technology, which give cinematographers the ability to render fine grain images with a wider range of latitude for recording nuanced details in both the shadow and highlight areas.

The KODAK Look Manager System is designed to allow cinematographers to create, pre-visualize and manage film looks from preproduction through postproduction. The software-based system locks the picture data into an exportable file that can be accessed by other system users to help ensure accurate communications in a collaborative environment.

Website visitors can enter the giveaway by filling out an online form. Winners will be chosen randomly. For more information, visit  www.kodak.com/go/workflow.

No purchase necessary. Ends 10/10/05. Open only to U.S. and Canadian residents. Void where prohibited. See Official Rules at http://promotion.kodak.com/makeworkflow for odds, prizes, and eligibility. ARV: $4,925. Sponsored by Eastman Kodak Company.
