Kodak Intros Digital Cameras

DX6440 offers 4 megapixel resolution By Dave Nagel
Kodak today introduced three new models in its line of EasyShare digital cameras. These include the DX6440, CX6330 and CX6200, offering resolutions of 2 megapixels to 4 megapixels. The new models will roll out between this month and August.

The DX6440 offers a Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon 4x optical zoom lens; a high-speed, low-light autofocus system; and new Kodak Color Science image processing algorithms. The camera features a resolution of 4 megapixels and includes programmable aperture and shutter priorities, along with pre-programmed sport, night, portrait, landscape, close-up and automatic modes. It also includes a 1.8-inch LCD screen. It will be available in August for $399.

The CX6330 offers a 3.1 megapixel resolution, a 3x optical Kodak Retinar aspheric all-glass zoom lens, 3.3x Advanced Digital Zoom, multi-zone auto focus and automatic picture rotation. It also has the ability to capture digital video and audio and will be available this month for $279.

The CX6200 offers a 2 megapixel resolution and 3x digital zoom. It will be available in August for $129.
