Ken Comee to Usher in Next Phase of Growth as Newly Appointed CEO of PowerReviewsPowerReviews to Lead $10B Social Software Market With Prominent Cloud Executive (March 20, 2012)
SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/20/12 -- Today PowerReviews announced that cloud software executive Ken Comée has joined the company as its new CEO. PowerReviews is the world's most widely deployed social commerce platform, powering the social conversation on brand and retailer websites, including Staples, REI and Toys "R" Us. The company, which has grown eight-fold over the last two years and has more than 1,500 customers, recently launched a powerful new platform that allows companies to connect social activity with sales results for the first time.
Comée, who most recently grew Cast Iron Systems from start-up to global leader in cloud integration and strategic acquisition by IBM, is widely credited for scaling world-class software organizations by aggressively driving growth. He has served on the PowerReviews Board of Directors since 2011. Former CEO Pehr Luedtke is assuming a new role at PowerReviews as vice president of strategy and partnerships, where he will focus on product strategy, corporate development and key platform partnerships.

Previously, Comée held executive positions at CollabNet, a software development pioneer in the cloud, and at product lifecycle leader PTC. He also held various general management positions at Amdahl / Fujitsu in both Europe and the US.
