Kemp Goldberg Partners Takes Best of Show at The Ad Club of Maine's 2011 Broderson Awards

Integrated Portland Agency Wins Top Honors Plus Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards Across Four Categories at the 31st Biennial Awards Show (November 01, 2011)

PORTLAND, ME -- (Marketwire) -- 11/01/11 -- Kemp Goldberg Partners, a nationally recognized advertising, public relations and interactive agency, today announced it won Best of Show at The Ad Club of Maine's 2011 Broderson Awards. The agency won the marquee award of the night for its "Sea Bags -- Continue the Journey" campaign for world-renowned maker of fashion accessories, Sea Bags™. The agency also won an additional four awards at the biennial awards show, which has celebrated the creative endeavors of Maine agencies and professionals for more than three decades. This year the ceremony was held on Thursday, Oct. 27, with the theme of the night focused on celebrating commercial art as fine art.

Work on behalf of Sea Bags also earned the agency two additional Gold "Brodies" in the Poster Design and Print Campaign categories. Additionally, in the Annual Reports -- For Profit category, the agency won the Silver for its work on Camden National Bank's 2010 annual report and a Bronze in the Logos & Marks category for the Children's Museum and Theater of Maine logo.

Entries were evaluated by an esteemed panel of guest judges from around the United States, including Nina DiSesa, creative recruiter, BBDO New York; Rupal Parekh, agency editor, Advertising Age; Peter Friedman, executive producer and owner, Friedman360; Todd Pendleton, director of global brand communications, Nike; Monica Buchanan, creative recruiter, BBDO New York; Tim Nudd, news editor, Adweek; Chuck Willis, editor, founder and owner, Cutting Room; and Stephen Orent, executive producer, Station Film.


The Broderson Awards show was created in memory of Dick Broderson, a radio personality and advertising professional who was dedicated to excellence in creativity.
