Kekus Releases Panotools 2.0

Photoshop plugins get 16-bit support By Dave Nagel
Kekus Digital has released an update to Panotools, a collection of plugins for Adobe Photoshop based on Helmut Dersch's Panorama Tools. The new 2.0 version adds a variety of enhancements, including support for 16-bit mode. It's available now for Mac OS X.

Panotools 1.1 includes five individual plugins for working with panoramic images, correcting (or applying) lens distortions and adjusting perspective. These include LensFix, which offers a database of preset corrections for Nikon and Sigma lenses; Remap, which allows users to convert between image projection types (normal, QTVR, PSphere, Fisheye and Convex Mirror); Adjust, which creates panoramas and also extracts partial images from stitched panoramas; Perspective, which changes the orientation of an image; and Correct, an image distortion filter. The new 2.0 release includes support for 16-bit images in Photoshop; compatibility with Lemke's GraphicConverter; loadable lens databases for LensFix; new lens databases for LensFix; and support for recording the plugins in Photoshop Actions.

Panotools 2.0 is available now for $39.95 for Mac OS X. For more information, visit
