Jump Technologies Introduces Route Optimization Into JumpTrack Proof-of-Delivery SolutionCloud-Based Solution Optimizes Delivery Sequencing to Reduce Miles Driven and Fuel Costs, While Improving On-Time Delivery for Independent Office Supply Dealers (April 16, 2014)

Route optimization is now available for the JumpTrack cloud-based, proof-of-delivery solution (POD), which transforms an unordered list of stops into an optimized delivery sequence, ultimately reducing operational costs of the fleet.
According to the National Private Truck Council (NPTC), it costs $3.00 per mile to operate a delivery vehicle. Another feature automatically sends an email notification to a customer when their delivery is completed and includes a link to the website to view delivery details. Route optimization is an add-on feature to JumpTrack and costs $55 per month for each route that is optimized.
