Jobvite Entices More Than 2,200 Users From Taleo During Make the Switch Campaign

Social Recruiting Innovator Announces New Customers and Offers New Incentives to Join Throughout 2012 (June 19, 2012)

BURLINGAME, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 06/19/12 -- Jobvite, the leading recruiting platform for the social Web, today announced new customers through its successful Make the Switch program. The campaign, launched in February after Taleo (TLEO) was acquired by Oracle, offers incentives for switching to Jobvite, including a price match for the first 12 months. Today, Jobvite is introducing a new incentives package for Taleo customers interested in making the switch now through September.

Many companies contacted Jobvite in the aftermath of Taleo's acquisition with concerns about customer service, speed of innovation and their need to use the best platform available to provide a competitive edge in recruiting top talent. They had a few recruiters doing what Jobvite could mobilize an entire employee directory to do -- boost referral hires. As a result, Jobvite welcomed new customers that collectively employ more than 2,220 people. If each employee has the average of 150 social contacts, together the new customers have a potential recruiting reach of 333,600 direct connections, making valuable referrals quick and easy.

Jobvite allows companies of all sizes to harness the power of employee referrals by encouraging everyone on staff to share job openings through their social networks, exponentially expanding their recruiting reach. Getting a job referral from a friend or contact dramatically increases the chances of being hired -- one in 7 referrals vs. one in 100 general applicants lands a job, according to Jobvite data.

Jobvite's new customers making the switch from Taleo represent a number of different industries. Some of the companies who recently switched include Blend HRM, DoubleVerify, ReadyTalk, InfoReliance and Vizu. Jobvite is thrilled to provide these and other companies with the industry's leading social recruiting solution, and has prepared a new offer.

The latest package in the Make the Switch program is already enticing more companies away from Taleo as they look to leverage Jobvite's premiere social recruiting solution. Available through Q3, Jobvite is encouraging employers to make the switch with the following incentives:

  • Jobvite will match the price that any company is currently paying Taleo for the first 12 months. (minimum $200/month)
  • Free use of Jobvite Source, the social sourcing and candidate relationship management (CRM) application that helps companies find relevant talent through employee referrals, social networks and the Web.
  • Customers can have a premium career site designed for half price, and/or an additional hour of free design consulting.
  • Jobvite will provide a free year of gold-level customer support, which includes up to 8 hours of one-on-one activation assistance, unlimited video training and support through the Jobvite Community Portal, and online case management.
  • All activation fees are waived.

"Making the switch from Taleo to Jobvite is the best decision I ever made," said Kimberly Kahn, director of Human Resources at DoubleVerify. "The Jobvite team made it a quick and seamless implementation of their platform, and it's a pleasure to work with them."
