Jimmy Fallon to Release Blow Your Pants Off June 12Late-Night Star Also Contributes Limited-Edition 7-Inch in Celebration of Record Store Day (April 20, 2012)
NASHVILLE, TN -- (Marketwire) -- 04/20/12 -- On June 12, 2012, comedian and late-night host Jimmy Fallon will release Blow Your Pants Off on Warner Bros. Records. His second album release following his Grammy nominated debut contains new original music as well as viral favorites from Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, and features a mind-blowing roster of guest stars including Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Justin Timberlake, Eddie Vedder and more. Of the title, Fallon says, "So far everyone that's heard the album had their pants blown off. There's nothing that we can do about it."
Fallon will also celebrate this Saturday's Record Store Day by releasing a limited-edition 7-inch featuring "Tebowie" (his hilarious Tim Tebow/David Bowie mashup) with a B-side parody of the "Reading Rainbow" theme song as sung by The Doors.
Jimmy Fallon began his TV career with Saturday Night Live in 1998, where he quickly became an audience favorite. Known for his spot-on impressions, hilarious sketches and his stint as co-anchor of "Weekend Update" with Tina Fey, Fallon spent six successful years on the show. In March of 2009, Fallon returned to NBC and took over the Late Night legacy with Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The show has continued to garner attention for its viral videos, audience games, A-list guests, and Fallon's choice of critically-acclaimed house band The Roots. In less than three years on the air, Fallon and the Late Night team have already begun collecting awards.
