Innovative New Co-Branded Kids Club Teaches Children About Money & Community Values

Think Nemo meets financial education, with a twist. That's how the owners of the Dani Dolphin & Friends Kids Club describe their groundbreaking new program that also teaches children the value of spending and saving within the community.

"Kids today are quick to embrace the latest technology," commented co-owner Angela Beauchamp, who has 15 years of experience as an elementary school teacher. Another unique element of the Dani Dolphin & Friends Kids Club is that the program also delivers educational materials to the parents of the children to help them better manage their family's finances. A special section of the club's website provides parents with coaching on key tasks such as setting up and sticking with a budget, saving for their children's education, and preparing a will. Just like their kids, parents are also urged to consider local providers first when spending, saving, or borrowing and to raise their children to do the same.
