InFocus Debuts High-Power Projectors

Models offer 5,200 to 5,800 ANSI lumens By Dave Nagel
InFocus has debuted two new models in its line of Proxima digital projectors. The new Proxima Pro AV 9550 and Proxima Pro AV 9500 are high-output models (5,200 to 5,800 ANSI lumens) designed for installations like auditoriums, large conference rooms and stages. Both models are available now.

The Pro AV 9550 and Pro AV 9500 feature 5,800 and 5,200 ANSI lumens, respectively, a variety of input options and a range of lens options. The 9550 is an upgrade to the 9410, delivering SXGA resolution and weighing 45.2 pounds. The 9500 is an upgrade to the 9350 and offers XGA resolution.

Both models are compatible with all "standard" data and video sources and are compatible with ProjectorNet, a network system for managing digital projectors. They feature seven user-replaceable, optional lenses and modular input design for customization. The projectors provide menu-controlled dual lamps, which can be used together or separately in order to maximize lamp life, reduce power consumption and vary image brightness. They are also compatible with ProjectionLink.
