InDesign CS4 Beyond the Basics: The Stroke panel

Creating your own Stroke styles By David Blatner

David Blatner brings his knowledge of and passion for InDesign to the latest release of this state-of-the-art publishing program, showing how to harness its power and functionality. InDesign CS4 Beyond the Basics covers the process of publishing with an eye on the program's latest nuances: optimizing page layouts, automating InDesign with Data Merge and XML, exploring interactive documents (including making movies), and exporting publications to a variety of formats.

In this video, host David Blatner shows how to use the Stroke tool, moving the stroke out using the stroke panel and choosing the align stroke button. He shows how to choose a stroke style, and if there isn't a style to your liking, he shows how to create your own stroke style via the stroke panel menu. From here you can create three different kinds of stroke styles.
