In-Sync Corp.'s SR Media Post Goes to Beta(January 15, 2002)
SR Media Post gives existing Speed Razor 2000 / 2000 X users the ability to view on the timeline and output a variety of the new video and audio formats which were not addressed in software in previous version of Speed Razor. Best use of SR Media Post in version 1 is as an export utility.
Note: This is not a real time editing module. It is a file export utility which also allows for non-real time editing of formats that were never before supported in software only in Speed Razor. Using SR Media Post does resolve a 2 GB file size limit on export for most codecs.
A partial list of formats that would be supported for time line editing are:
Output export formats includes many of the same with the exception of Quicktime export which is still a feature of SR2000X.
Testing is also currently being done for export for export from timeline of Mpeg 1 and Mpeg 2. Mpeg1 and 2 are NOT part of the product spec for version 1 of SR Media Post as much more testing needs to be done. But depending on testing, it is possible that could be supported by time of release.
SR Media Post is expected to ship for $250. For more information, visit www.in-sync.com
