Imagica Corp. of America Appoints New CEO and President

IMAGICA Corp. today announced the appointment of Ken Katayama as CEO & President of IMAGICA Corp. of America, based in Los Angeles, California.  Mr. Katayama succeeds Koji Ichihashi, who has been elected as Executive Officer and appointed as General Manager of IMAGICA's Contents Division in Tokyo, Japan.

Mr. Katayama has worked for IMAGICA CORP since June 2003. As Sales and Marketing Manager, Motion Picture Div., of IMAGICA Corp., Tokyo, he successfully promoted IMAGICA's business related to the new media and motion picture markets. He made great strides in creating new business opportunities related to digital cinema in Japan, and managed several sales representatives.

Prior to joining IMAGICA Corp, Mr. Katayama worked for Sumitomo Corporation, a multinational trading company in Tokyo Japan. He gained several years sales and marketing, product and corporate management experience in a variety of fields, including motor vehicle sales, telecommunication, electronics and power projects. Mr. Katayama has a business degree from KEIO University in Tokyo, with specific studies in economics, marketing and business administration.

Mr. Katayama said, "I'm very honored to be appointed to the position of CEO & President of IMAGICA Corp. of America. I will work diligently to ensure the expansion of IMAGICA Corp's products within the marketplace."
