IgniterX Lite Certified for Pro Tools on Mac OS XCapture board offers offline 50:1 compression
IgniterX is built around the QuickTime architecture to provide integration with applications like Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects and Pro Tools. For use in a digital audio workstation environment, it's designed to provide high compression ratios for saving disk space while allowing editors to synchronize audio to video. It offers standard unbalanced RCA audio I/O (16-bit/44.1 kHz to 48 kHz stereo), as well as composite and S-video I/O. It supports CCIR 601 resolution with variable MJPEG-A compression with compression ratios that can range from 1.5:1 to 50:1. Like other models in the IgniterX family, the IgniterX Lite can also be upgraded to component and SDI I/O as well.
IgniterX Lite is available now for Mac OS X for $999. For more information, visit http://www.auroravideosys.com.
