IMAGICA Scans Films Heading For Academy AwardsScanners used on six Academy Award nominated films (January 27, 2005)
IMAGICA Corp., the industry leader in digital film scanners, announced that its scanners were used to scan the following films; The Aviator, Finding Neverland, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Passion of the Christ, Spider-Man 2, and The Village, all of which have been nominated for Academy Awards in a variety of categories.
In addition, IMAGICA film scanners have been used on such films as National Treasure, Ocean's Twelve, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Van Helsing, The Day After Tomorrow, The Life and Death of Peter Sellers, America's Heart and Soul, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and many others.
