IHOP Stacks Up the BuzzNetBase Brand Passion Indices Analyze Men and Women's Favorite Breakfast Brands (May 09, 2012)
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 05/09/12 -- NetBase, the Enterprise Social Intelligence (ESI) Platform company, today announced the latest installment of analysis from its What Women Want study, which analyzed over 27 billion conversations in social media over the course of a year to unearth the top 10 items men and women say that they want. The first three installments examined the top three wants for men and women, which were surprisingly the same, ice cream, cars and pizza. This week's Brand Passion Index takes a look at men and women's emotions, opinions and behaviors associated with pancake brands.
As has been the case in the past three installments, men and women shared the same buzz winner, with International House of Pancakes (IHOP) generating about 92% of the overall conversations among both genders' top ten brands. Women cited the varied syrup flavors as a reason to keep coming back to IHOP, while men liked the specialty pancake flavors. When it came to most loved brands, women raved about Pancake Pantry and men gave their love to Starbucks Pancakes.
