IABM Reveals Broadcast Manufacturing Summit 2006Strategic look at the broadcast manufacturing industry (December 07, 2005)
The International Association of Broadcasting Manufacturers (IABM), the trade association that represents vendors in the broadcast and electronic media industry, has revealed details of its forthcoming Broadcast Manufacturing Summit 2006. The Summit the second annual conference that builds on the success of the inaugural event held this year will be held on 16th and 17th February 2006. Industry leaders from around the world are again set to converge on Reading, UK, to take a strategic look at the broadcast manufacturing industry.
The Summit will also begin the IABMs 30th anniversary celebrations. The event is carefully designed to bring together players from across the industry, facilitating real discussion. Alongside keynote addresses Larry Kaplan, Chairman and Founder, Omneon, Naomi Climer, Director of Professional Services and Broadcast, Sony, Pat Griffis, Senior Director, Worldwide Media Standards, Microsoft, Clyde Smith, SVP Technology Turner Broadcasting, Jeff Rosica, VP Corporate Strategy, Thomson Grass Valley and Rob Ten Siethoff, CTO, NOB the Summit also features panels and task groups, as well as discussion groups.
These are designed to provide a high level of interaction among attendees and a real depth of learning. The Summit will run from lunchtime to lunchtime, Thursday and Friday, at Wokefield Park, Reading, UK. The first day will provide a clear understanding of the issues in 2006; the second day will examine strategies for success in 2010.
