Human Software Ships AutoFocus Filter

Photoshop plugin provides deblurring, sharpening By Dave Nagel
Human Software has released a new plugin for Adobe Photoshop called AutoFocus. The new filter provides tools for working with photographic images, including the ability to remove slight blurs. It's available now for Mac OS 9, Mac OS X and Windows.

AutoFocus 1.0 is a filter that combines several image manipulation tools into a single dialog. These include:

  • DeBlur, for focusing an image that is slightly blurred;
  • DeNoise for removing grain and noise;
  • HighSharpening for sharpening images without producing noise;
  • Fix JPEG Artifacts for removing compression artifacts from JPEG images.

AutoFocus 1.0 is available now for Mac OS 9, Mac OS X and Windows for $70. It supports Adobe Photoshop 5.5 or higher, Corel Photo-Paint 9 and Jasc PaintShop. For more information, visit http://www.humansoftware.com.
