Plugin optimizes image enlargement and reduction By Dave Nagel
Human Software has released XFile, a new plugin designed to improve the quality of images enlarged within graphics applications like Adobe Photoshop, Jasc PaintShop and Corel Photo-Paint. It's available now for Mac OS 9, Mac OS X and Windows.

Human Software says XFile provides advanced algorithms to improve image quality on enlarged or reduced images. It provides several interpolation methods along with a preview in the interface to determine how the image will look at any given enlargement or reduction.

XFile is available now for electronic delivery via Human Software's Web site. It support Mac OS 9, Mac OS X and Windows running a variety of graphics applications. (A complete list is available on the company's Web site.) It sells for $49.95. For more information, visit http://www.humansoftware.com.
