Human Software Releases SmartPicker

Photoshop plugin provides RGB-based color schemes By Dave Nagel
Human Software has released SmartPicker, a new plugin for Adobe Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. SmartPicker is a color picker that provides color schemes based on an RGB color wheel. It's available now for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X.

SmartPicker is activated by clicking on a color in Photoshop's Tool palette, calling up an interactive color picker that provides access to color schemes, including analogous, complementary, split complementary, monochromatic, tetradic and triadic. (Note that the schemes are based on an RGB color wheel rather than an RYB color wheel.) It offers image-based color matching and gray-level contrasting. It also allows for saving and recalling presets and has the ability to compare colors against a saved list of colors.

SmartPicker is available now for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X for $24.95. It supports Adobe Photoshop 6, 7 and 8 (CS), as well as Photoshop Elements 1 and 2. For more information, visit
