Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Wins CASA/SME 2001 University LEAD Award(November 09, 2001)

"The rapid and continuous progress made in implementing plans for education in production engineering and engineering management have been significant."
HKUST, established in 1991, is a young dynamic research university with a mission to propel Hong Kong into the knowledge era and drive the technological, economic and social advancement of the Asia Pacific Rim and beyond. AMI, founded 8 years ago, has stimulated innovations by cutting across traditional boundaries to respond to both global industry trends and local industry needs.
Taking a holistic approach to studying methodologies, HKUST AMI provides the fundamental knowledge for adapting information technology to product development, customer interaction, supply-chain management, distribution and transportation logistics.
