HiveFire and Hubspot Experts to Reveal How Marketers Can Feed Their Content BeastsUpcoming AMA Webinar Will Provide 10 Practical Approaches to Content Marketing (January 10, 2012)
CAMBRIDGE, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/10/12 -- HiveFire, Inc., an online content marketing technology company, today announced it will host an upcoming American Marketing Association (AMA) webinar on how marketers can use content marketing and content curation, the process of finding, organizing and sharing online content, to support objectives and meet prospects' demands for information to make better purchasing decisions.
What: According to HiveFire's recent B2B Marketing Trends 2011 Survey, generating or creating content is the biggest marketing challenge of over 15 percent of B2B marketers. The webinar, "Top 10 Ways to Feed Your Content Beast," will provide tips and tricks for how marketers can overcome this challenge to make content an effective part of their strategies.
When: Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012 at 1 p.m. EST
Who: The webinar, which will be moderated by AMA's Anthony Salas, will feature commentary and real-world examples from known thought leaders in the content marketing industry, including:
- Pawan Deshpande, CEO and visionary of HiveFire. HiveFire's product, Curata, is an easy-to-use marketing solution for content curation and content marketing. Deshpande has spoken at leading events including SXSW, Content Marketing World, the Online Media Summit, and previous AMA webinars. Prior to founding HiveFire, Deshpande held positions at both Microsoft and Google. He attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for both his graduate and undergraduate degrees in Computer Science.
- Rick Burnes, Director of Product Marketing at internet marketing company HubSpot. In his role, Burnes builds and maintains HubSpot's community of over 500,000 marketers and has also played critical roles building the company's blog and developing free marketing software applications, including Marketing Grader. Prior to HubSpot, Burnes was co-founder and CEO of Faneuil Media, a startup that provided inbound marketing solutions for local businesses and also worked at NYTimes.com, where he managed the launch of new sections, including search and theater.
Why: Traditional B2B marketing focused strictly on selling. However, there has been a major backlash against sales messaging recently and prospects now want -- and demand -- something different; they want objective content that informs and helps them make better purchasing decisions. But, feeding the content beast can be a challenge. Marketers that want to generate relevant, engaging content to support their marketing objectives often get bogged down with seemingly more urgent priorities. This how-to session will detail 10 simple and effective approaches to accelerate content marketing efforts.
How: The hour-long webcast is free. Interested marketers, media and others can sign up via HiveFire's blog, Content Curation Marketing Today.
