Henninger Media Services Announces Four GM Appointments(October 30, 2001)

As GM, Henninger Productions, Mr. Kelly will be responsible for developing and overseeing the Henninger Production staff, tactical planning, and developing and implementing new programming initiatives. Mr. Leonard, Mr. Johnson and Mr. Minerd will have overall facility management responsibilities, media services related duties as well as generating new business initiatives at the Henninger 1150 Post, Henninger Arlington and Henninger Richmond facilities, respectively.
Brian J. Kelly has been with the company for seven years and has created a number of award-winning films for Henninger Productions, including the recent high-profile mini-series "Gold." Prior to coming to Henninger, Brian owned his own production company and will once again be tasked with applying his business skills and creative talents to leading Henninger Productions.
With over two decades of experience in the media business, David Leonard joined Henninger 1150 Post from Pyramid Studios (VA) where he was vice president and executive producer. Prior to Pyramid, Mr. Leonard held posts at the Gannett Company, Inc and received his Masters of Arts in Producing Film & Video from The American University and did his undergraduate work in photography and film at Ohio University.
Anthony Johnson brings over 20 years of experience to his new role. Mr. Johnson's most recent posts were as president of SpiritWorks Inc., as Director Production and Operation at Black Entertainment Television (BET) and he has held various management positions at Atlantic Video (DC), Group Andre Perry (DC), Optimus (IL), and IBM (IL). Mr. Johnson received his BA in Radio, TV & Film from Northern Illinois University and his MA in Human Learning and Development from Governors State University.
With 25 years of experience in media, entertainment and communications, Doug Minerd joins Henninger Richmond from Mariah Vision Incorporated where he served as Vice President, New Media. Mr. Minerd has also held positions with Anheuser-Busch at Busch Gardens and with Cedar Point Inc. Mr. Minerd graduated from DePauw University and is an honorary affiliate of the "4th Allied POW Squadron" for his outstanding contribution to the history of the Vietnam Prisoner of War experience, the musical drama "Four Part Harmony."
