Helios Ships ImageServer 2.5

Server gains automated script handling through hot folders By Dave Nagel
Helios Software has released ImageServer 2.5. ImageServer, formerly known as Helios EtherShare OPI, is a server for image manipulation, conversion and repurposing. The new version gains automated script handling and runs on a variety of Unix-based servers, from Apple's Mac OS X to Sun Solaris.

ImageServer 2.5 allows for automated conversion of file format, resolution, color space and compression. It also provides OPI image replacement, server-based ICC Color Management, color separation and proof printing capabilities. The new version also includes a new Script Server service for automating tasks via hot folders. The server automatically executes user-defined scripts when files are dropped into folders on the server.

Helios ImageServer 2.5 supports Macintosh, Windows and Unix clients. For more information, visit
