Heavenspot Designs Online ''Hustle and Flow'' GameChallenge involved maintaining visual interactivity through multiple interfaces (August 12, 2005)
Heavenspot, a full service international design agency located in Hollywood, California has recently completed an online game design for Watson DG on the feature film "Hustle and Flow," a newly released blockbuster from Paramount Studios.
The game package includes fresh sound effects, innovative Flash interfaces, a progressive design theory and the ability to email your customized ride to a friend.
The project was motivated by the client's desire to connect with the features core youth market and hip-hop audience.
Chevon Hicks, Creative Director of Heavenspot noted that a main challenge for the design firm was to forge a dynamic visual appearance that would interact with the user through multiple interfaces.
"Creating seamless interactive design is always a challenge," says Rich Rodecker, Heavenspot, Senior Interactive Designer. "However, using drag and drop interfaces built-in Flash is very appealing to the user and keeps them constantly engaged with the product."
Work on the project began in mid-June and was completed in mid-July. All design, animation and production was completed in Heavenspot's Hollywood, CA, Headquarters.
