Harris & Baseview debuts IQue 5 & ProductionManagerProPrint publishing tools make European debuts at the IFRA show in Leipzeig, Germany, Oct. 17-20 (October 12, 2005)
IQue 5 and ProductionManagerPro from Harris & Baseview will be making their European debuts at the IFRA show in Leipzeig, Germany, Oct. 17-20. Harris & Baseview is a division of MediaSpan.
You can sign up ahead of time for a demonstration by going to: http://www.harrisbaseview.com/events/display.php?id=246.
New features in IQue 5 range from better tools for InDesign (squaring columns, aligning columns) to perfect fit and InCopy integration to cross-platform pagination. However, we didn't stop there. We're also debuting IQue 5's database skills with related objects, custom fields, asset-specific fields and remote access and updating.
Among the new innovations in the new version of ProductionManagerPro is a cross-platform server that works on either Mac OS X or Windows.
Other new features include remote administration via PMP Monitor, which allows your IT staff to monitor activity and make changes from any machine; a database powered by MySQL; globally accessible information features, including "server groups" that make ProductionManagerPro more conducive for use among chains and groups; and ads on demand, which allows all users access to all ads on all servers in a seamless and transparent manner.
Harris & Baseview also will be showing Jazbox, our content management system for publishing to print, Web and wireless devices. With a database-centered structure, Jazbox conforms to your workflow needs, streamlining them yet allowing for change and modifications to workflow in the midst of the production cycle. The new OnePlan feature helps plan and budget even before a story is created.
AdManagerPro, our solution for scheduling, billing and managing classified and display ads, will also be shown.
