At Harman, Dr. Toole oversees the product engineering and evaluation processes. Dr. Toole's keynote, "Audio Engineering - Science in the Service of Art," will focus on how the transformation of listening tests into subjective measurements has been integral to advances in the science of audio.
The address will also feature discussion of the practices of capture, storage and reproduction and the essential role physical measurements play in the design of audio devices.
