HUI Emulator Comes to Logic Platinum

OMS/HUI devices can control Logic Control By Dave Nagel
Emagic says it has released an emulator that allows any software that supports OMS and Mackie's HUI to control a Logic Control system. The software is available only for the Macintosh and is available now as a free download on Emagic's Web site for Logic Platinum 5 users.

According to Emagic, the HUI emulator allows for the control of a setup with up to 16 channels. It allows users who switch between Logic and, for example, Pro Tools to use Logic Control to have control over both systems. (It will work with any DAW software that supports HUI and OMS.)

The HUI emulator requires a licensed XSKey for Logic Platinum 5 for the Macintosh, a Logic Control or Control XT and a machine running Mac OS 9.x. For more information, visit http://www.emagic.de.
