HP to Demo Itanium-Based Systems at Intel Developer Forum

Hewlett-Packard Company as the co-developer with Intel of the Itanium processor family architecture, is enabling companies to transform their businesses with technology and online support services. HP is the only vendor shipping Itanium-based systems with a production version of UNIX, the HP-UX 11i operating system.


-- Itanium server demonstrations.

-- HP executives will be available for interviews to discuss
new applications and the company's roadmap for Itanium.

-- Cing-Dao (Steve) Kan, director of simulation and modeling
research at National Crash Analysis Center, shares his
company's experience with Itanium.

-- Launch of HP Guru service for porting and migration to the
Itanium architecture. HP Guru service offers experts who
work with customers to address technical questions and
issues during the porting or testing phases of projects.

-- HP also will announce the September availability of the HP
Server rx4610 with the Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Advanced
Server Limited Edition 64-bit operating system.
