HITACHI INTRODUCES CP-X505 3LCD PROJECTOR FOR PRO AV APPLICATIONSThe CP-X505 features network management and advanced security functions (November 28, 2006)
DMN Newswire--2006-11-28--Bringing advanced connectivity and control to a variety of professional audio/video environments, Hitachi America, Ltd., Ubiquitous Platform Systems Division has introduced the CP-X505 3LCD projector. With a brightness of 3,500 ANSI lumens and Hitachis proprietary PJMan network management software, the CP-X505 provides superior maintainability, high-quality presentation capabilities, state-of-the-art security and simple operation.
The Hitachi CP-X505 3LCD projector, as with all Hitachi models, lives up to the highest performance standards in the industry, featuring a 1000:1 contrast ratio and high-image quality. Thanks to motion adaptive progressive scan technology, 3:2 pull down, noise reduction, equalizing gamma and 3D Y/C separation, users can even project moving pictures with beautiful clarity.
The CP-X505 can also be integrated into a LAN for centralized monitoring of power, input, lamp life and other functions. More than 500 projectors can be controlled from a single computer. It is also possible to control the power and other functions of a single specified or all projectors linked to the LAN. Using Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) software, the CP-X505 is able to remotely monitor and diagnose the projectors status and the status of other network applications. When an error or trouble occurs, the projector uses Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) to send a warning message to as many as five e-mail addresses. Additionally, CP-X505 projectors can be controlled and monitored via a web browser, eliminating the need to download and install application software.
The CP-X505 displays images via a 1.2x zoom lens that can enable projection on screens up to 350 inches and are outfitted with a bayonet lens that can support up to four optional lenses for specific application needs based on the size and environment of a room. Further, the CP-X505 features four built-in 4W speakers, eliminating the need to purchase additional audio equipment.
?Hitachi has established itself as the worlds leading projector manufacturer based on a foundation of performance, reliability and versatility, said Pete Denes, vice president of sales, Hitachi America, Ltd., Ubiquitous Business Platform Systems Division, Business Group. ?The new CP-X505 projector builds on these qualities and exceeds the high demands on presentation technology that currently exist in the professional audio/video market.
