HBO Calls Upon Fearless Music and a Classic Track From U2Creates spot/promo campaign for second season of hit original series ENTOURAGE (June 10, 2005)
HBOs new promo campaign heralds the second season of its original series, ENTOURAGE. With one of the spots in the package featuring a classic U2 track, the award-winning cable network needed to score a :30-second cinema spot, ?Entourage in Theatre and :35-second ?Entourage Teaser with a hard-hitting and dynamic piece of music powerful enough to match the energy of the show, as well as stand up against the legendary rock groups sound. With the deadline on their heals they called upon the creative resources at Fearless Music and the award-winning talents of owner/composer/producer Jamie Lamm as well as its vast indie-rock talent pool.
HBO approved Lamms first composition without revisions leaving him to the task of finding the perfect vocal complement to the track. Lamm, whos always had his finger on the pulse of New Yorks music scene, has dedicated the past year and a half to the honing of a breakthrough weekly television show showcasing performances by the best indie-rock recording groups in the industry. The shows vast talent base has been integrated into the resources of the Fearless Music [the music house], creating a unique talent pool and invaluable creative resource for promo and spot work. With over 150 bands having preformed on Fearless Music [the tv show] Lamm immediate thought of Warner Brothers recording artist Brendon Wilde to sing over the track. He also drew upon the TV shows talent roster to put together a top caliber group of musicians for the project. Fearless Music then mixed the track, in surround 5:1 for the theatrical trailer, as well as stereo for the on air version.

ENTOURAGE executive producer, Mark Wahlberg, once again draws upon the experiences of industry insiders for the second season. The show follows Vince Chase, a young actor on the rise to Hollywood stardom. An ensemble cast, including a crew of childhood buddies from the old neighborhood in Queens, help Chase navigate the highs and lows of Hollywood's fast lane.
Jamie Lamm, a successful, award-winning spot composer, producer and musician, has garnered numerous awards during his prolific career, including London International Advertising Awards/ 2001, ?Blaven, Mobius Awards/2001, Mistic Campaign, Clios/1998, ?Sprite Love, Tellys/1998, ?Kiss, and Omni Intermedia Awards/1998, ?Kiss. His talent and experience are key to the successful funneling of indie-rock talent into the spot arena. Fluent in both the language of the agency and music worlds, Lamm has created a user-friendly bridge for both camps: Eliminating the angst associated with talent from outside the ad world, and helping bands hone their sound to support the message of an advertising medium.
