GridIron Software Expands Presence in Europe

Veteran Creative Professional Joins Company to Drive Efforts (February 02, 2009)

OTTAWA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/02/09 -- GridIron Software, the leading provider of workflow and performance tools for creative professionals, today announced a strategic hire to manage its expansion into Europe. The European market is very important to the company's upcoming beta launch of GridIron Flow, a visual workflow manager that has already won early praise from industry watchers. GridIron has appointed renowned industry expert, Angie Taylor, as the Creative Director to oversee the region and grow the company's presence at this critical time.

"Adding Angie to the GridIron team is huge for us -- we're thrilled to have her leading the charge in Europe," said Steve Forde, president of GridIron Software. "As a creative professional who has worked in the industry for 13 years, she has the right mix of talent and experience to understand the market and help us achieve the growth we expect."

Based in London, Taylor brings an extensive background in all aspects of the creative industry, including producing animation, visual effects and motion graphics to the company. She is a respected author as well as a sought-after trainer and consultant by many top companies. Taylor has worked on a variety of diverse projects ranging from children's animation for BBC education to animation work on the infamous short film, "Rubber Johnny," by director Chris Cunningham.

In the coming months, Taylor will be demoing GridIron's software throughout Europe. Her first public appearance will be at the Broadcast Live Expo, which runs from February 17 - 19, 2009 at Earls Court 2, on Warwick Road in London, where Flow will be showcased in Adobe's stand, #C10. GridIron Flow will be available for public beta on February 18, 2009.

GridIron Flow is a groundbreaking new visual workflow manager that keeps creative professionals streamlined and informed. Flow gives users a total understanding of each project. For the first time, they can see how all the pieces fit together, in one simple, elegant interface whether they are using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Apple Final Cut Studio, Microsoft Office or other software. With instant access to any file or version needed, creative professionals can get a lot more done in a lot less time -- without having to do anything differently.
