Grass Valley Launches Financial Services Program

Adds more flexibility and choice for media and entertainment customers (March 02, 2006)

Continuing to lead in easing the transition to multi-format and multi-distribution approaches for its media and entertainment customers, Thomson today announced the Grass Valley Financial Services program, a new capital lending service. Launched in partnership with National City Commercial Capital Corp. (NC4), the comprehensive customer-finance initiative is immediately available to customers throughout the United States —from individuals up to large media organizations—and covers all Grass Valley technologies, systems, and services.

As with the open approaches and advanced technologies Grass Valley provides in its digital applications solutions and services, the new financial service is structured to provide customers as much flexibility and choice as possible—particularly as they expand their operational and business models in an environment marked by rapidly accelerating change and technology advances.

Grass Valley Financial Services features a number of flexible financing program options which are backed by National City Commercial Capital and tailored to the dynamics of the specific markets Grass Valley serves, from broadcast and production to professional audio/visual and distribution and transmission. Each program enables a buyer to amortize their investments in Grass Valley equipment, software license packages, and engineering services over an extended period of time.
