Google and DivX Offers Digital Video Options to ConsumersMore than 50 million DivX Certified devices (January 06, 2006)
DivX Inc. and Google Inc. today announced the companies will work together to make Google Video accessible on consumer electronics devices, enabling consumers to bring their video content into the connected home and with them anywhere they go.
"DivX vision focuses on helping consumers experience the content that is meaningful to them in the most useful way, and that aligns very closely with Google," said Jordan Greenhall, co-founder and chief executive officer of DivX Inc.
