Google Docs Integration Added to Podio's Work PlatformPodio Users Can Now Easily Share Google Docs Anywhere a File Can Be Attached Within Podio (February 16, 2012)
SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/16/12 -- Podio, the replacement for all your project management software and collaboration tools, today announced an integration with Google Docs to deliver faster, easier file and document sharing within Podio's Workspaces, Apps and Tasks.
Podio is a web-based work platform for collaboration and project management, where any user can easily build their own business apps to get their work done. Google Docs is used by many of Podio's users for concurrent, realtime editing of spreadsheets, slide presentations and text documents. Now Podio users will be able to instantly share the Google Docs they're working on from within Podio and incorporate them into their collaborative workflow.

Attaching Google Docs works in the same way as uploading any file to Podio. Podio users can click the 'Add files' icon anywhere they see it, select 'Google Docs,' connect their Podio account to a Google account, then simply pick the Google Docs and files they want to share within Podio.
