Getty Images is one of the world's leading creators and distributors of still imagery, video and multi-media products. Getty Images was the first company to digitize and license imagery online and it continues to lead the industry by serving business customers in more than 100 countries.

SDL and Getty Images have been working in partnership since 2002 and in this time the company has transformed its processes for managing content and language. In today's digital era, Getty Images needs to ensure a simultaneous launch of digital content in 8+ languages for each of its international sites. To achieve this, the company has worked with SDL to adopt an agile approach to global content creation. The system also allows for in-country reviews by Getty Images reviewers before content publication.

Rebecca Rockefeller, senior vice president of E-Commerce for Getty Images and general manager for iStockphoto says, "In order to move to an agile content development process we needed an external partner who could mirror our internal workflow and provide a solid technology platform for us to work within.
