Germane Creative Honored for Black History Month PSA

Wins Gold Aurora Award and Finalist Award from Tellys (August 10, 2005)

Germane Creative LLC proudly announces that their Black History Month public service announcement, produced for The History Channel and sponsored by Red Lobster, received two awards: a 2005 Gold Aurora Award and a Finalist Award from the Tellys. 
The thirty-second PSA was created by Germane Creative as part of The History Channels Black History Month awareness campaign.  It features a timeline of achievements in African American History. Germanes Andrea Stewart wrote, produced and created graphics for the PSA.
?The Aurora Awards is a international competition designed to recognize excellence in the film and video industries. The basic premise of the judging structure for the Aurora Awards is receiving the endorsement of [ones] peers that the work is outstanding. Programs are judged on a fixed scale in areas of creativity, message effectiveness and technical excellence. Added together this provides a score that is measured against an absolute scale to determine if the program is award worthy or not. <>

The Telly Awards is a widely known and highly respected national and international competition and receives over 10,000 entries annually from all 50 states and many foreign countries. <>
