DMN Newswire--2008-7-17--Granicus, Inc., the nations leading provider of solutions for government webcasting and public meeting management, announced the winners of the Digital Governance Awards today. The awards honor public agencies that:

   - Facilitate government transparency.

The winners will accept their awards at the 2008 Granicus User Conference, co-sponsored by Microsoft, August 6-8 in San Francisco, California.

We are extremely honored to award our clients for displaying innovation, creativity, and leadership using technology to accomplish better results at lower costs, says Tom Spengler, Granicus CEO.

The winners successful initiatives demonstrate the growing potential for webcasting and legislative management solutions in government, Spengler says. The awards recognize the broad applicability of digital technology across different government departments, leading to collaborative problem-solving and higher efficiency.
