Future Media Concepts to Hold EDIUS(R) Classes in New York and Washington, D.C.(November 08, 2011)
"There's an increasing need in the broadcast television and independent media production markets for qualified editors skilled in using EDIUS," said Jeff Rothberg, FMC president and co-founder. "FMC is one of the few authorized EDIUS training centers in the world -- and the only one in the U.S. -- privileged to be a part of Grass Valley's 'grass cutters' worldwide accreditation and training program. We expect to extend the program to FMC's four other U.S. centers by early next year."
The EDIUS workshop is designed for professional editors or advanced consumer-editors with a background in linear tape or film editing, or anyone wishing to transfer skills from another nonlinear editing system. The course is especially suited for editors in the high-end broadcast market, as well as those looking to become proficient in the software for growing freelance opportunities.
