FullCircle Mobile App Launches For Windows 8(November 01, 2012)
Herndon, VA (PRWEB) November 01, 2012
FullCircle, a GeoSocial Discovery Network enabling mobile device users to identify and interact with other people and businesses based on their physical proximity, interests, and preferences, today announced the launch of a mobile app designed specifically for the new Microsoft Windows 8 operating system. The FullCircle app is now available in the Windows Store.
In 2011 FullCircle launched a GeoSocial Discovery Network that integrates location awareness with social networking enabling mobile app and web users to identify and interact with other individuals and businesses based on physical proximity, interests and preferences. FullCircle allows users to easily create location aware groups or communities around areas of common interest, need or business services. From within these groups, members can identify other group members nearby, send a broadcast message to the group, and use mapping to observe group clusters, all with strong opt-in privacy protections.
Already available as an app for the iPhone, iPad and Android devices, FullCircle developed an app for the Windows Store that takes full advantage of the innovative design, touch-screen functionality and user interface Windows 8 provides for mobile device users.
The Windows 8 operating system is built for how users work and play on mobile and tablet devices, especially when combined with the innovative touch-friendly Surface tablet and tiles user interface that simplifies communication with people, apps and services, said Michael Hodge, founder and chief executive officer, FullCircle. By leveraging the new usability and design features of Windows 8, the FullCircle app now delivers a dynamic new look and feel for our members seeking to identify and interact with others via mobile devices.
As consumers and businesses look beyond what existing mobile social networks offer, FullCircles GeoSocial Discovery Network continues to see strong traction among global users, and debuts its Windows Store mobile app with more than 700,000 members. The free FullCircle mobile app is currently available on the iPhone, iPad, Android and Surface (in English, Chinese and Spanish), or can be downloaded at http://www.fullcircle.net.
