Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) June 04, 2012
Hooda Math has slowly been releasing math apps for the iPad and iPhone for 2 years now. In recent months they have announced to their game developers to shift their focus from creating online math games to making math games and learning tools for mobile devices.
Over the past 2 years, Hooda Math has released a mix of learning tools and math games for mobile devices, including: Dress Up Math, Dress Up Princess Math, Day Trader, Shopping Mall, Fraction Circles, Fraction Poker, Free Math Flash Cards, and most recently We Are Square, their first physics game app for the iPhone.
Prevent summer learning loss early. If you do not start worrying about math until August, too many skills have already been loss. Hooda Math is trying to encourage students, parents, and teachers to begin summer math learning in a fun interactive way, by offering all of their math apps for free throughout the month of June.
When founder and CEO Michael Edlavitch was asked about the limited time offer of free Hooda Math apps, he replied, "We have had such strong support from our 2 million monthly users over the last 3 years that we wanted to give something back." It is important to note that HoodaMath.com has always been a free math website supported by ads alone with no registration required.
As of present time there are no ad placement in the Hooda Math apps. How will they support new development? Mr. Edlavitch plans to charge for our newer math apps just enough to pay for the development costs. It has always been Hooda Math's goal to keep math learning free and at the same time improve on what is already available on the market for math learning.
HoodaMath.com will remain free. With over 200 Math Games already online for free, HoodaMath.com is sure to remain one of the most popular math games sites on the web.
Free online math site for teachers, parents, and kids featuring math games, math worksheets, math tutorials, and math movies. Created by Michael Edlavitch, a middle-school mathematics teacher, in 2008. Mr. Edlavitch credits board games and playing cards for his early enjoyment of mathematics. Hooda Math believes free online math games can do the same for students today.
