Fox Cable Networks To Distribute New Channel With Wegener Equipment(July 10, 2007)
The network will be available to all North American cable and satellite carriers and television distributors, with most programs offered in high-definition television (HDTV). The network is scheduled to launch during August, 2007.
WEGENERs linear video distribution solution includes the Unity® 4600 satellite receivers, COMPEL® network control system and COMPEL encryption. The Unity 4600 receiver is a professional-grade device that provides digital reception of SD and HD television signals. COMPEL Control® will provide the Big Ten Network with the ability to support multiple live sporting events, regionalize commercial insertions and remotely re-tune WEGENER receivers.
