Former Salesforce.com Executive Roger Hodskins Joins Scribe

Veteran Entrepreneur Brings Extensive Knowledge of Cloud Market to Accelerate Growth of Scribe's Data Integration Platform for ISVs (December 16, 2011)

MANCHESTER, NH -- (Marketwire) -- 12/16/11 -- Scribe, the leader in CRM data integration solutions, announced that former Salesforce.com executive Roger Hodskins is driving Scribe's push to expand its leadership in partner-developed solutions for the cloud and on-premise (hybrid) integration market.

"I came to Scribe from Salesforce.com based on the strength of Scribe Online, our cloud-based integration platform for application vendors and other partners," said Mr. Hodskins, the new vice president of strategic alliances at Scribe. "We can use our partner-centric platform and our expertise in CRM integration to help our partners expedite cloud adoption among our customers. I'm looking forward to extending the partner programs currently in place to broaden our reach into the cloud integration marketplace."

Scribe's partners use the Scribe Online Data Integration Platform to deliver integration solutions to customers operating in a hybrid (cloud and on-premise) environment. With the growing complexity of the enterprise application ecosystem, customers without a platform-based integration solution can become overwhelmed. Scribe offers partners a proven integration platform they can use to rapidly customize integration solutions for different markets, eliminating the need to manage connectors of varying quality from a variety of vendors.

"Roger's leadership in business development, strategic alliances, and sales at Rational Software and Ascential Software as well as web conferencing provider DimDim helped those companies forge the partnerships that drove their success," said Lou Guercia, president and CEO of Scribe. "He is a tremendous asset to Scribe, and our partners and customers will benefit greatly from his contributions."

Mr. Hodskins added, "There's a great opportunity right now with the acceleration of cloud adoption for a company with solid technology -- and Scribe's heritage business is thriving -- to grow exponentially by offering a superior integration platform and program for partners. Scribe has always been a partner-centric company, and I'm very confident that I can build on Scribe's record of success."
