Former Computer Explorers President Deb Evans Launches Franchise Operations Consulting FirmEvans Partners With Joe Mathews and the Franchise Performance Group to Help Companies Develop Peak Performing Franchisees (April 04, 2012)
HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 04/04/12 -- Deb Evans, the former President of Computer Explorers (CE), has launched a franchise operation consulting firm designed to help franchise companies develop peak performing franchisees.
Evan's new firm, Deb Evans Consulting LLC, has partnered with Joe Mathews and the Franchise Performance Group to implement a range of franchise operations training, coaching and consulting with the goal of increasing the skill set of the franchise operations staffer.
"Franchise operations staff are the unsung heroes of the franchise industry," said Evans, who spent the previous 16 years in the CE franchise system. "Franchising often focuses on franchise sales and expansion at the expense of the operations side of the business. Luckily, there are some best practices and methodical ways for companies to increase same store sales and shorten ramp up so franchise owners are both happier and more profitable."
Evans started her career in franchising as an instructor with CE in New Jersey in 1996. In 1997 she purchased the franchise territory. By 1999 Evans expanded as a multi-unit franchisee. She was recognized as Top Producer, Mentor of the Year and Franchisee of the Year. In 2004 Evans accepted a position at the corporate office and moved from NJ to TX.
Evans serves as a panelist at the annual IFA (International Franchise Association) convention and is a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE). Evans is working with Joe Mathews, Founder, Franchise Performance Group on their first book together "Developing Peak Performing Franchisees" and accompanied academy program for franchisors.
Evans is chairperson of the upcoming FranCamp event to be held in Atlanta, Georgia on May 4th. FranCamp is a hands-on, low-cost, one day event fully loaded with fast paced agenda on social technology marketing strategies.
